Larry Streeter began teaching English in Royal Oak at Keller Jr. High in 1967. After nine years at Keller he moved to Dondero where he taught for 27 years. Larry developed the Responsibility System/Room and was one of four finalists in the Oakland Press Excellence in Education Award program. In 2002 he was named Secondary Educator of the Year by the R.O. PTA Council. Larry received the Schell Award for the second time in 2003. During his 24 years as Student Senate advisor he received awards from WDIV and MASC. He is pursuing a Master's Degree in pastoral counseling and will work at Christian Counseling Clinics. Leslie Whalin introduced Larry as her friend and confidant and will miss helping him to be more organized.
