2002 ROEA FAMILY MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Kathryn Caruso Lee Mayers
Kathryn especially enjoyed participation in extra-curricular activities at Kimball High School. She took part in gymnastics and soccer, serving as a captain on both teams during her senior year. She was a member of the Varsity Club, National Honor Society, Diversity Team and an officer for the student Round Table.  Kathryn plans to attend Western Michigan University. She has an interest in science, art and design. Kimball high school graduate Lee Mayers plans to attend Michigan State University. He will focus on studying astrophysics and theater.  At Kimball he was involved in Drama Club and played on the soccer team.  Math and science classes were his favorites and he found Advanced Placement classes to be especially interesting.  He and his family are visiting Hawaii this summer after visiting all of the other 49 states during the last 14 years.
