Curt Lange, Uniserv Director

A WELL DESERVED THANK YOU

My thanks to resigning Executive Board Officers Maureen Altermatt, Bertha Arribas, and Monty Weathers. They served our members exceedingly well. Maureen served a three (3) year term as Middle School Director. Bertha served fourteen (14) years as MEA Delegate and four (4) years as Program Vice President. Monty served five (5) years as Treasurer. In addition to their specific duties as Executive Board members, Maureen, Bertha and Monty made substantial contributions to the union in terms of the experience and wisdom that helped shape ROEA policies over the years. Please join me in thanking them.

Congratulations to our new officers.

As I write this issue of the ROEA REPORTER on June 10th voters are streaming into our schools to vote. The issue is now in the hands of the voters. My commendations to you for your efforts to improve the quality of our students’ educational experience.

You will soon receive a letter in the mail describing concerns that have occurred late in the school year.  Until then, have a deservedly relaxing and enjoyable summer.  The ROEA will be here when you return - working hard to protect our rights .
