Noel began her career in Royal Oak in 1968 as a permanent sub at Lincoln El. Then she moved to Jefferson for 3 years. After taking two years off for maternity leave she returned to spend the next 27 years at Northwood. While teaching at Northwood she enjoyed a whirlwind romance with her husband-to-be, Steve, and earned her Master's Degree in the one room school concept. She actually taught a multi-age classroom for grades one through six for 7 years! She has especially enjoyed producing a number of special features for Northwood's TV station.  At Northwood she served as AR for the ROEA. A very reliable source has stated that she is "without a doubt, without any reservation - the best teacher around!"
