A summary of info from Priscilla Bowen's introduction of John Grant:

John Grant is retiring after 33 years of teaching - 10 years at Barton Jr. High, 12 years at Addams Jr. High and 11 years at Kimball High School.  His social studies students responded well to his fair, firm and friendly approach.  Mr. Grant often used his own resources to supply his classroom with up-to-date computer equipment and enjoyed planning and participating in Junior High Camp.  His sons, Jeff and Steve, were students at Kimball while he was teaching there and the word is that even that went smoothly!

John has joined his father in selling real estate for many years and will continue with that career.  He works by referral only and has been very successful due to his reputation for a conscientious and absolutely honest approach!  John's grandson Matthew will be another focus for his attention.
