Floyd was introduced by Dave McCrumb. Known as "Mr. D" by his students, Floyd has taught art in Royal Oak since 1972. He has been a teacher at Keller, Churchill, Addams El., Addams Jr. High, Upton, Lincoln, Whittier and Kimball. Before becoming a teacher he was in the Air Force. Retirement will give him more time to ski, travel, bowl, play golf and take a Kung Fu class with his son.
