Gerry Detterman has been a teacher in Royal Oak since 1970. She has taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades and Title ! and Kindergarten at Lincoln, Whittier and Oakridge Elementary Schools. Gerry plans to spend more time at her summer home in Lake Fenton, possibly visit her son who will be working in Africa, "play with Lois" and "do anything I want."
