Besides having taught in Royal Oak for 38 years at Clara Barton Junior High, Addams Junior High/Middle School, Kimball and Royal Oak High Schools, Priscilla Bowen was a product of the Royal Oak Schools (Whittier, Clara Barton, Addams, Dondero). Priscilla also served many years as a ROEA Association Representative in all of the buildings in which she worked. Priscilla was part of a class-action lawsuit that resulted in women being able to use sick days for  post-partum recovery.

Priscilla will be spending her retirement enjoying more time with her mother, her children and grandchildren. She will also now have time to read and travel and relax.
