2008 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
MISSION STATEMENT
In
2002, the Royal Oak Education Association Scholarship fund was
established to encourage continuing education for ROEA members'
families.
The
ROEA, in awarding this scholarship to a son, daughter, stepchild,
grandchild, niece, nephew, or immediate relative of a member, is
honoring those who choose to further their education. ROEA members
impact thousands of students and hope to instill not only knowledge,
but a passion for learning.
This
scholarship is a non-renewable one time award. The scholarship check
will be made payable to the educational institution which the
recipient will be attending.
ELIGIBILITY
Graduate
June, 2008 from a public high school.
Acceptance
at an accredited post secondary institution that grants a degree,
certification or license.
Submit
a completed application by Friday, June 6th.
CRITERIA
Candidates
who meet the above eligibility will be judged on the attached
application and their answers to the following questions.
